How it works

1

Find a job near you

Open the map, see real Bench jobs in your city. Each one shows the location, what's needed, and what it pays.

2

Tap to claim

Get there, open your phone. GPS confirms you're at the venue. The capture page walks you through what to do.

3

Snap it. AI verifies.

Your phone records or photographs whatever the job needs. Faces and license plates auto-blur before anything is uploaded. The AI grades the work.

4

Get paid in ink

Pass the AI grade, ink lands in your account in seconds. 1 ink = $0.05. Cash out at $10 minimum.

Common questions

Do I need to sign up before I claim a job?
No. You can earn anonymously. Sign up later when you want to cash out (we need an email + 1099 info above $600/year).
What if the AI rejects my work?
You can resubmit, or the job opens back up for the next Inker. The AI tells you exactly why (blurry, wrong angle, can't see prices, etc.).
What if someone else claims the job before I get there?
Most jobs are first-to-complete, single-claim. Don't drive 20 minutes for a 5-ink job — pick something close. The map shows you what's nearby.
Is this 1099 work?
Yes. You're an independent contractor. Annual earnings over $600 trigger a 1099-NEC. Below that, you get a year-end summary for your records.
Can I get hurt or get in trouble?
Bench refuses jobs that put workers in legal risk (illegal flyers, trespassing, harassment, etc.). Inkers stay in publicly accessible areas. If you're ever asked to leave, you leave — we detect that automatically.
