TRUMP / VENEZUELA
"have secured majority U.S. control of more than 65 BILLION BARRELS of proven Oil Reserves in Venezuela, at no cost to the American Taxpayer."
"Our customers will get published and publicly available posts fractionally faster." — — Trump Media CEO Kevin McGurn, three weeks earlier, on Truth API
The biggest oil deal in world history went out as a Truth Social post on a Friday evening, and the follow-up ninety-four minutes later was "Our deal with Venezuela is the biggest oil deal, by far, in World history!" The partner turned out to be a Barbados-based company controlled by Alejandro Betancourt Lopez; the American side is a Pentagon office, the Office of Strategic Capital; the Venezuelan side is signed by an interim president who has never stood for election. The contract is not public, and it shows: the grant was reported as 25 years and as 100 years, the U.S. position as a 35 percent stake and as outright majority. Nobody made anyone reconcile that, and nobody tested "at no cost to the American Taxpayer" against a Pentagon equity position and a State Department commitment to buy output. The channel went unmentioned almost everywhere. Three weeks earlier the president's own company started selling high-frequency traders a millisecond edge on posts exactly like this one, and no outlet ever established how far behind everyone else is.
