HAST Staying with crime in the Panhandle. Randall County sheriff's office arrested a man on multiple charges of child sexual abuse. No further details on the charges or the victim yet. Sheriff's office will likely release more once the arraignment clears.

KELI Lighter footing next. Amarillo Fire Department was called to Wonderland Amusement Park Saturday night when the Texas Tornado rollercoaster stopped with eighteen riders stuck above ground. No injuries. AFD brought everyone down safely. The park says the ride stays closed while they investigate the cause and do repairs.

HAST Also Monday night, AFD responded to a structure fire at a vacant house near NW 10th and North Adams. No injuries reported. Fire Department reminds people vacant buildings are hazards and to call 911 immediately if you see suspicious activity or fire at an abandoned structure. Do not go inside them.

KELI Canyon City Commission approved alcohol service changes for special events. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission requires property owners to authorize sales on their land. Canyon is the property owner of the Canyon Square, so the city approved a letter authorizing alcohol at farmers markets and other events there. That clears the legal path for vendors who were already selling.
