TRUMP / EQUITY STAKES
"I've made Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks, and many other type Holdings, for the U.S.A., not myself."
"assembling a pseudo-sovereign wealth fund under executive control, one deal at a time" — — Tad DeHaven, Cato Institute, tracking the portfolio deal by deal
The post went up at 3:17 PM Sunday with an AI image of the Resolute Desk and monitors reading "BOUGHT: INTEL $20" and "NOW $95," inside a ten-hour run that also produced "THE MOON IS OURS," New Mexico as "New America," the Strait of Hormuz as a "new U.S. Territory," and a map with the U.S. flag over Canada, Greenland and Mexico. The press graded the run on the Moon. But the portfolio is real: 39 announced stakes, about $26.7 billion, spread across Commerce, Defense, the DFC and Energy with no consolidated public ledger, and only the DFC with clear statutory authority to hold equity. Intel alone — 433.3 million shares at $20.47, converted out of CHIPS Act grants after the labor and buyback conditions were stripped — has gone from $8.9 billion to roughly $42 billion. Federal budget rules treat the purchase as an outlay, so that $33 billion gain appears in no budget document at all. And ethics filings show accounts in the president's own name started buying Intel in March, months after his administration's stake sent the stock up. "Not myself" is the load-bearing phrase, and nobody weighed it. Nor did anyone name the channel: the market claim went out on the feed whose front of the line sells for $100,000 a month.
